A warm welcome to Paddy

As those of you who follow my painting blog know, we lost our darling Missy in June.

The house felt so empty without her, that we went to Battersea Dogs & Cats Home to see if there was another wee soul who would need the type of home we could provide.

There was such a one - and his name is Paddy!

So please, give a warm welcome to our new companion.

    Oh my goodness Pat, I could almost cry I'm so delighted you have Paddy in your lives. It is a terrible loss when our beloved pets travel over the rainbow bridge, but you and your husband have opened your hearts to give Paddy a wonderful home. He looks such a cute little character - in fact I think the word 'Character' will be prominent in your lives with him there.

      Thanks Ann. It was so hard being in an empty house - and we're sure Missy would want us to adopt another. There were such similarities in their circumstances, we believe she led us to him. As for character, quirky would describe it lol
