Paddy's Christmas and a new kitchen

Since we moved into the new house, we've had some work to do indoors, firstly a new kitchen!

I'm pleased to say that it's almost complete. We installed this ourselves and I'm delighted with how it's coming into shape. We're waiting for the sales to buy new flooring.

and little Paddy, like us, thoroughly enjoyed his first Christmas in our new house!

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas - and wish you all the best for the New Year.

Christmas Eve 2015

Christmas Eve- and the year has flown past!
Looking back, it's been a tough year and then, a beautiful one.
We have been through the mill with hubby and his workplace, but thanks to the kindness of the legal and medical professions, we have made it through -  and find ourselves in a much nicer place.

In the process we have lost some friends. Friends of the season, I like to think of them as. Farewell to you, at the end of this year, I wish you well for the future. As they have left, there has been room made for new friends. Hello and welcome to you all. I hope you prove to be friends of a lifetime.

If you read this blog regularly, you know that we have moved to the beautiful country of Scotland, where we have been welcomed with open arms.

You may also be wondering, what's happening with the storytelling? I can tell you, I have picked up the computer and the third in the Leaves Series is progressing well. I hope to bring you Anna and Chloe, Angus and Seamus in their new adventure, some time in the summer.

Paddy, our jack russell, adores his new lifestyle. The countryside he finds himself in is rich in smells and friends. We see him grow in confidence daily.

I'm all ready for Christmas, and this new chapter. I wish you the blessings of the season. See you in the New Year.

Christmas wishes, reader enjoyment and the new beginning.

Good morning, my blogging friends.
We're in the final few days before Christmas and I've no doubt that you're all busy, but wanted to take the time to wish you all a wonderful Christmas.

This is where we'll be eating our Christmas lunch

yes, that's the dining room at my house!
Wherever you have your Christmas meal, I hope the atmosphere is filled with love and kindness.

I had a couple of people write to me about my latest book 'Leaves for Chloe' which adds to the feel good vibe at this time of year.
Indulge me, while I replicate them here.

I wanted to tell you, I just finished reading 'Chloe'.......couldn't put it down! Thoroughly satisfying read! Can't wait for the next one to find out how my new 'friends' are doing in their new venture! :D

It was fabulous Pat. You are sooooooooooooooo clever and can tell a good tale Roll on #3

On sale now in Amazon and Kobo

And the new beginning?
I have started the third of the series. It will be called, 'The House in the Leaves.'
The cover will once again be made by the very talented Teresa Palomar Lois.

Hubby continues to improve and is settled back at work now.
I am finally beginning to relax about it all. I'm hoping 2015 will be a good year for us. I hope it's a good one for you too

A woman of letters...... and a Missy Christmas

Good morning friends!

Did you all have a wonderful Christmas?

I have to tell you, one of my presents confirmed that I'm a woman of letters now :)

This is it - a wonderful box frame, with scrabble letters, that spell out all my interests - plus the Series name of my novels - 'The Leaves Series'
All in the Leaves is the first and on sale, now. HERE

Missy had a lovely Christmas too. She had quite a few presents to open - but some of the photos ended up blurry - as you can imagine, when trying to photograph an eager jack russell!

So I'll simply post these few, to give you a flavour ...

Thanks to all who sent our darling girl presents and good wishes.
A happy New Year to you all .
